PRIVACY POLICY

Portal operator

The portal is published as part of the West Africa Statistics Harmonisation and Improvement Project, Côte d’Ivoire component, implemented with the National Statistics Agency (ANStat). Contact for the portal and personal data matters: phas@stat.plan.gouv.ci — +225 27 22 22 18 83.

Data that may be processed

Browsing the public website does not require an account. The server may nevertheless process technical data needed for operation and security: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and error logs. When you contact PHASAO, the contact details and information you voluntarily provide are used to answer your request. Administration accounts are restricted to authorised individuals.

Purposes and grounds

Processing is used to provide and secure the portal, disseminate institutional information, handle enquiries and prevent abuse. Optional storage relies on your consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting operations already carried out.

Cookies and local storage

Essential storage keeps your privacy choice for six months. It is not used for advertising or profiling. Audience measurement and external media are optional. YouTube players and related connections only load after you consent to external media.

Recipients and external services

Data is accessible only to authorised teams and technical providers involved in hosting, maintenance or security, within the limits of their duties. Enabling external media may result in technical information being sent to the relevant provider. Videos are loaded from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain.

Retention periods

Your cookie choice is kept for six months. Messages sent to PHASAO are retained for the time required to handle them and for useful administrative follow-up. Technical logs are retained for a limited period proportionate to security, diagnostic and applicable compliance needs, then deleted or anonymised.

Data security

Technical and organisational measures are implemented to limit unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. As no system can guarantee zero risk, measures are reassessed in light of usage and identified threats.

Your rights

Under Law No. 2013-450, you may request access, rectification, updating, blocking or deletion of your personal data, and object to processing on legitimate grounds. Send your request to phas@stat.plan.gouv.ci, stating your identity and the subject of the request. You may also contact ARTCI, Côte d’Ivoire’s personal data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the portal, its services or the applicable framework changes. The update date shown at the top of the page identifies the current version.
